What should I do if an item arrives damaged or defective?

How to report damage or a fault through the returns portal and provide useful evidence without limiting statutory rights.

We're sorry your piece did not arrive in perfect condition. Report delivery damage as soon as possible, preferably within 3 days, so useful carrier evidence can be preserved. If you discover a fault later, submit it as soon as you notice it; this does not limit any statutory conformity rights.

Report it

Start your claim at returns.oblist.com using your order number and the email linked to the order. Choose the affected piece and Arrived damaged or Faulty / quality.

For transit damage or a fault noticed on arrival, the portal guides you through the current evidence checklist:

  • the shipping label with the tracking number readable;

  • every outside face of the box or crate;

  • the opened package;

  • all internal protection, including foam, padding, corners and wrapping;

  • the entire affected piece; and

  • a close-up clearly showing the damage or fault.

An unboxing video is optional. Keep the box or crate and all internal packaging until the case is closed. This evidence may support a carrier claim where relevant; requirements vary by carrier and submission does not guarantee acceptance.

What happens next

Customer Care reviews the claim, coordinates with the seller and carrier, and confirms the appropriate outcome. Depending on the case, this may be a return, repair, replacement, refund or another resolution.

You can follow the case under Your requests at returns.oblist.com. If media upload is unavailable, continue in the current chat and share the order number; do not open a duplicate request.

The 3-day period is the BuyerProtection™ and carrier-evidence window. A later report may affect programme or carrier-claim eligibility, but it does not remove statutory rights.
