Made-to-Order describes when a piece is produced; it does not automatically determine whether every buyer can return it.
Standard Made-to-Order vs Custom & Personalised
Standard Made-to-Order — produced after purchase to the seller's normal specifications, without individual choices made specifically for the buyer.
Custom & Personalised — produced to the buyer's individual specifications, such as custom dimensions, materials, finishes, colours, engraving or another clearly personalised configuration.
For EU/EEA and UK consumers, standard Made-to-Order pieces generally remain subject to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal exception applies only to genuinely customised or clearly personalised goods.
For customers outside the EU/EEA and UK, cancellation and return eligibility follows the product classification and The Oblist Returns & Refunds Policy, without limiting mandatory local rights.
Cancellation before dispatch
Any order may be cancelled free of charge within 48 hours if it has not been dispatched. After that period, cancellation fees may apply to Made-to-Order or Custom & Personalised pieces once production or material procurement has begun.
Faulty, damaged or misdescribed pieces
Whatever the return classification, remedies remain available if a piece is faulty, damaged, not delivered or significantly not as described.
For BuyerProtection™ and carrier evidence, report damage, non-delivery or significant misdescription as soon as possible, preferably within 3 days of delivery—or the expected delivery date. A later report may affect BuyerProtection™ or carrier-claim eligibility, but it does not remove statutory rights.

Check the product page
The product page indicates whether a piece is In Stock, standard Made-to-Order or Custom & Personalised and shows its production estimate. These details determine the applicable process together with the destination and buyer status.
